Are you thinking about spending your holiday on Bonaire? And don’t have an idea yet what you want to do on this beautiful island? Then start packing your suitcase because we have the perfect activities and restaurants to spend your first three days.

Day 1

Firstly, we are going to explore the island. And there is no better way to do this than by taking an island tour! The first stop is 1000 steps: a great place for snorkeling. Next, if you drive along Gotomeer towards Rincon you will see many flamingos. Once at Rincon you have the perfect place to recharge from snorkeling while you have a delicious lunch at Posada Para Mira. After lunch you can continue the tour by driving towards Kralendijk via the other side of the island. Along the road you’ll see many donkeys which is definitely cool to see. Also you will find along this road a landsailing course, fun to do! You can end the tour at Karel’s Beach Bar on the boulevard of Kralendijk where you can enjoy the sunset.

Day 2

Bonaire is the perfect place for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The best chance for wind is in the morning or at the end of the day. If you are still a beginner, you could also take some lessons. After the first surf session you could take a nice break with a lunch at the Hangout Beachbar located at Sorobon. Fancy dinner in the evening? Het Consulaat or Capriccio are really high recommended places to dine. If you still feel like doing something after dinner, it’s a good time to drive to Seru Largu and enjoy the beautiful night view of Bonaire.

Day 3

After these two active days, a beach day is just what you need. To totally unwind, beach club Ocean Oasis is the place to be. The sunbeds are super comfortable and you can have a really good lunch or a cocktail right at the beach. If you are interested in seeing more of Bonaire’s culture, you can drive to the salt pans where you can see the slave houses and read all their history! To complete these three days, you could spend your last night with a culinary highlight at restaurant Brass Boer. The owners of this restaurant are known from the Michelin star restaurant De Librije in the Netherlands so they know exactly what you need!

These days were a combination of culture, sport and relaxation. In conclusion, for us the best possible combination what you could do on your first three days on Bonaire, what do you guys think?
